Joseph T. Bernstein

Joe Bernstein is an associate at the firm specializing in a variety of types of litigation.  Joe’s practice is based in family law and commercial law matters.  In addition, he advises clients on a broad range of other issues, including business formation, contract negotiation, employment law, elder law, wills, business ownership disputes and intellectual property. 

Prior to joining the firm, Joe practiced law both in Denver and in Chicago.  Joe is a member of the Executive Council of the Young Lawyer’s Division of the Colorado Bar Association.  Joe is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Illinois, and is a member of the American, Colorado, Illinois, Denver and Chicago Bar Associations.

Joe graduated from The University of Michigan Law School in 2002, where he was an executive editor of the Michigan Telecommunications & Technology Law Review.  Also at The University of Michigan, Joe earned bachelor’s degrees in the fields of Political Science and Computer Science.  Prior to becoming an attorney, Joe owned and operated a successful technology consulting company in Flint, Michigan
