Ms.
Bindel has more than 20 years of legal experience and holds paralegal degrees
from Denver, Colorado (2002) as well as Cologne, Germany (1989). In addition,
she obtained a degree in Business Administration. Ms. Bindel has gathered
extensive experience as a paralegal working for law firms as well as for regulatory
state agencies. Ms. Bindel gained experience in various areas of the law including
business law, employment law and family law, but has always enjoyed her
emphasis: business and commercial litigation.
When Ms. Bindel first relocated
to Colorado, she worked for the German Consulate in Denver, CO until she
obtained her ABA approved paralegal degree in 2002.
Thereafter,
she accepted a paralegal position at a law firm with the primary emphasis in
business litigation. In 2006, Ms. Bindel was recruited to work for the State of
Colorado. She accepted a position as Legal Assistant to the Auto Industry
Division with assignment as sole administrator to the Colorado Motor Vehicle
Dealer Board and its Executive Secretary. Ms. Bindel worked for close to two
years as paralegal for Burg Simpson Hersh Eldredge & Jardine, P.C. as a
member of the commercial litigation group.
In July of 2010, Ms. Bindel joined
the team of G.W. Merrick & Associates, LLC.Ms. Bindel’s multi-lingual and paraprofessional skills along with her
international connections are of significant value to this firm.
Ms. Bindel’s
priority in life is her daughter. In her spare time, they ride horses and enjoy
any outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. Ms. Bindel attends cultural
events at the Denver Performance Art Complex and the Denver Art Museum; she
enjoys the occasional wine tasting and any outdoor music concert.
